Fred Thacker revolutionized the wheelbarrow in post war Britain by hand building them in steel, stronger and quicker to produce than the wooden predecessors these soon became an invaluable tool in helping rebuild Britain.
Over the years the family continued to grow the company and in the 1990’s The Walsall Wheelbarrow Company was formed keeping British quality, innovation and service at the very centre of the companies ethos.

Contractor
The original and best selling wheelbarrow in the UK, with the 85ltr capacity and narrow body it is strong but agile, ideal for domestic settings but will hold it’s own anywhere.

Endurance
With a thicker frame and larger capacity, it has improved balance and better strength and weight distribution, with rubberized soft feel handles for better grip this is a great choice for anyone in the trade.

Ranger
This is the heavy duty work horse of the wheelbarrow world, with a large 120ltr capacity, 32mm tubular frame with under pan “X” brace and higher handle height this will make life on site a lot easier to handle.
The Ranger also comes with a 12 month warranty and puncture proof HDPU wheels that perform like pneumatic wheels without the risk of getting a puncture.
