Rivar Sand and Gravel are now stocking crushed concrete which offers a sustainable and cost-effective alternative to traditional materials.
Crushed Concrete is a recycled material made up from demolished buildings and roads, the concrete is collected and crushed down to many sizes usually ranging from 75mm down to dust making it a great versatile and durable material to compact, this material can then be given another lease of life and can be used in a multiple number of ways including construction, sub-bases for pathways, driveways and garden beds, drainage and landscaping.
Used as an alternative to traditional materials such as scalpings and MOT or Type 1, this recycled material can be a more cost effective and planet friendly way to build.
Available loose or in bulk bags for delivery or collection means that you can have as much or as little as you need, reducing the amount of excess materials left over from a job and you only pay for what you need.
