Here are some of the products available with our aggregate delivery services:

Sharp sand:

Also called grit sand, screeding sand and concreting sand, this is a mixture of sand and gravel.

This is frequently used with water and cement to create a base for paving.

One bulk bag weighing 900kg of our top quality sharp sand costs just £57.25.

A 20kg bag is £3.45, that represents excellent value for money.

Scalpings:

This is sand dust up to 40mm which forms a sub-base when it’s compacted. Driveways, paths and patios need scalpings for installations and to fill potholes. The scalpings minimise dips and cracks so really shouldn’t be forsaken.

A 900kg bulk bag is £57.25.

Type 1:

This, again is a sub-base material and it lends itself to road and highways use.

25kg and bulk aggregate delivery services are available. Although 25kg bags are held in stock, bulk supplies have a lead time.

A 25kg bag costs £3.25.

Blonde building sand:

This product is currently on offer! Just £40.00 for a 900kg supply. That’s a discount of 30%. Don’t miss your chance to enjoy this local aggregate.

Blonde building sand is a popular product, widely used across Berkshire, and beyond. Its other name is soft sand and it’s been quarried in the Newbury area.

There is a clay content in the blonde building sand so it’s not recommended for rendering. We prefer fine washed sand for this task.
