Local Gravel Supplier Know-How
Local Garden Centre, Hare Hatch, Gravel Suppliers,

At Rivar Sand and Gravel, we are proud to stock the leading names and outstanding locally quarried gravels for your domestic and commercial landscaping projects.
From the vibrant black, white and brown Moonstone Gravel comprised of Thames Valley Flint to the welcome yellow tones of the slightly crumbly Cotswold Chippings, there is a local gravel to suit every need, taste and budget without compromising on quality.
As a long time established and respected local gravel supplier, we know that as the seasons pass by gravel never goes out of fashion, and as a natural product, the hues, patterning and shaping are impossible to replicate.
Gravel is easy to install and low maintenance; minimal attention is required if you prepare the ground prior to laying the chippings with a weed membrane or gravel framework; please ask us for more details.
Service, flexibility and style
We are here to help you achieve your project goals; whether you have a driveway or path to gravel, want to lay a mulch over flowerbeds, or have a small urban space to adorn, you can enjoy confidence in our service, knowledge and commitment to offering the ideal solution for your unique design.
At our Hare Hatch, Newbury, Tadley and Windlesham outlets you’ll never feel like you’re just one more customer in a long line that we’ll see during the day; we value your custom and won’t waste your time or money.
We will, however, help you to calculate how much gravel you need and the optimum performance depth of gravel for each application. It’s important to use the same batch of gravel throughout a project to ensure continuity. Natural variances in the material batches can stand out; always have some of the initial batch spare for future top ups.
We can deliver your purchase to site loose, in half bulk bags of 450kg, full bulk bags (900kg) and for top ups and modest plots, some local gravels are supplied in 25kg bags. Alternatively, you can take your gravel away with you.
A local gravel supplier favourite
One of our most popular gravels is the South Cerney Gravel; not only is it a warm, attractive semi-rounded buff-yellow but it offers versatility. As a feature, to highlight a feature, to bear vehicle weight or to offer an aesthetically pleasing audible security device that alerts you to visitors with its tell-tale crunch, its longevity, kerb appeal and value for money are undoubted.
South Cerney Gravel also delivers additional safe transit to its owners. The 20mm gravel chippings are less prone to compaction than smaller sizes, offering excellent grip. This is invaluable during the colder months because ice, snow and frost cannot form an even sheen across the stones, so a firm foothold or wheel grip are assured; something that you simply can’t guarantee with tarmac or concrete solutions.
Don’t forget that we’re local gravel suppliers who can help you with other landscaping materials, aggregates and ancillary products. When you feel inspired, consider us as your friendly one stop shop; we look forward to working with you soon.
